Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to design and run an end-to-end open procurement process. This role presents a unique opportunity to work on a challenging and complex project, with the freedom to implement innovative solutions. What you’ll do:

As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client’s operations. You will be tasked with designing and executing an end-to-end open procurement process to engage an external supplier for a new independent review service. Your ability to draw out requirements from stakeholders will be crucial in creating strong criteria for this process. You will also be responsible for managing risks associated with this procurement while ensuring compliance with the Natural Hazards Insurance Act 2023. Working closely with the project lead and head of procurement, you will have the freedom to design and run a unique procurement process.

  • Design and implement an end-to-end open procurement process for engaging an external supplier
  • Draw out requirements from stakeholders to create strong criteria for the procurement process
  • Manage risks both perceived and actual as they relate to this procurement
  • Work closely with the project lead and head of procurement to ensure effective execution of the procurement process
  • Ensure compliance with the Natural Hazards Insurance Act 2023
  • Collaborate with external probity as part of this project
