Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be at the heart of managing the procurement, tendering, and contract management requirements across the organisation. You will provide crucial support and commercial advice to stakeholders while performing end-to-end procurement and contracting functions. Your expertise will be instrumental in promoting procurement integrity and accountability in decision-making processes. You will also play a pivotal role in providing professional, commercial, and technical advice to key stakeholders for the effective operation of the organisation.
- Provide commercial advice to key stakeholders on all aspects of procurement strategy and practice to inform business planning
- Encourage innovative approaches and enhance value through improved procurement efficiency and outcomes
- Conduct end-to-end procurement tasks (i.e. Tenders) for high-value, high-risk or critical customer activities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, systems, and frameworks for procurement related activities
- Deliver best practice procurement and contract management solutions that comply with relevant legislation
- Ensure safe and compliant work practices in accordance with Western Australian Work Health & Safety legislation
