What you’ll contribute to
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven Procurement Specialist – Service Parts & Accessories to join our Finance & Procurement division in a Max Term role until 12th May 2026.
The Finance and Procurement Division is responsible for providing the business with corporate support with respect to all finance and purchasing activities in order to enable TMCA to execute its strategy and achieve its objectives.
The Procurement Specialist - Service Parts & Accessories, is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of service parts & accessories competitive sourcing strategies through supplier negotiations to ensure optimal supplier selection, management and mix with respect to customer centricity, quality, cost, sustainability and compliance.
This role is based in Altona with flexible work arrangements on offer.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Coordinate assessment and selection of suppliers in line with agreed commodity strategies via formal RFQ processes to secure timely delivery of service parts and accessories at expected quality and at optimal cost.
  • Contribute to corporate profitability through ongoing supplier management to ensure that suppliers maintain and improve expected performance levels including proactive identification and implementation of cost reduction initiatives.
  • Contribute towards the development and implementation of service parts and accessories commodity strategies consistent with set policies to achieve supplier selection objectives with respect to customer centricity, quality, cost, sustainability and compliance.
  • Assist in the development, continuous improvement and standardisation of processes and procedures for service parts and accessories purchasing to optimise the end-to-end procurement process.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve queries and issues, ensuring key operational activities are aligned and clearly communicated. Implement key projects in line with service parts and accessories purchasing strategies in to ensure continuity of supply and meet project milestones that align with broader TMCA objectives.
  • Maintain reporting systems to provide the business with accurate and timely information to support planning, budgeting and forecasting activities. Adhere to agreed purchasing policies and regulations to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements to minimise Toyota’s risk exposure and liabilities.

  • Degree qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in purchasing and procurement, ideally within an automotive environment.
  • Sound logical, analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including ability to build relationships with suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of cost estimation principles in line with product specification.
  • Track record in successfully delivering projects and cost reduction initiatives.
