Procurement Support Trainee

The Hardware Procurement team at Nokia CNS’s (Cloud and Network Solutions) Business group, a key part of Operations in CNS, is responsible for managing the global Hardware Procurement Categories such as IT HW, telecom HW, Nokia designed products (EMS) HW, devices for specific enterprise markets, test and measurement equipment. These are used by our customers to run the SW applications or to complete the network or vertical solutions sold to them.
We work to ensure that all contracts are efficiently established and maintained, negotiations and supplier relationship management lead to the optimal result, requirements from our internal stakeholders are adequately translated and enacted with suppliers, all data and information enabling Ops Supply Chain to efficiently execute purchase orders is made available.

You will learn and contribute as part of the team by working primarily with the Supplier/Category managers where your main tasks can be:

• analyse and drive improvements from our spend data : opportunities for negotiations, price alignments
• analyse out payment term data, analyse opportunities for improvement of payment terms within supplier contract, within Nokia systems
• learn to manage suppliers/contracts for the categories, in order to assist the complex category managers, or act independently on a simpler category or cases.
• review purchasing agreements for improvements versus latest templates or recommendations
• re-organise, enhance and refresh our teams shared media (Sharepoint), and develop it to be a stronger placeholder for our static and semi-static information
• contribute to digitisation initiatives the group would develop
• Fluent English
