We are currently scouting for a Produce Manager who thrives in hands on environments to join a Local Grocery team committed to nurturing development and growth among its people!
As the Produce Manager, your role involves skillfully Managing your Produce Department under the guidance of the Store Manager. Integral to the team, you play a crucial part in presenting the highest quality goods, providing excellent customer service, meeting sales targets, overseeing financial aspects, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards of your team.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in managing a Produce department
• The ability to train and develop staff
• Be positive, approachable and people focused
• Have the ability to meet deadlines
• Control department costs such as wastage, wages and other operational costs
• Understanding of local market and seasonal trends
• Understand food safety standards and hold a Food Handling Certificate
• Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
