Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Product Analyst you will work in close collaboration with product managers, data scientists, designers and developers supporting the design, execution and evaluation of new experiments and features in Candy Crush Soda Saga. Your role will include translating business questions into data questions and data answers into business answers. You will be working with varied stakeholders in a fun, dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This is a fixed-term position for 12 months.

DOCUMENTATION AND KNOWLEDGE SHARING

  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders across Soda

DOCUMENT ANALYTICAL PROCESSES, FINDINGS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS, ENSURING KNOWLEDGE IS SHARED AND ACCESSIBLE WITHIN THE TEAM AND SODASKILLS TO CREATE THRILLS

  • Hands-on experience with data analysis in a business or product context
  • Demonstrable ability to extract, manipulate, and interpret large datasets, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations. This includes understanding key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to product success
  • Experience working with data using SQL and creating sophisticated queries
  • Good understanding of statistics and the ability to interpret these with confidence to support recommendations
  • Adept in visualisation tools with experience in information visualisation and presentation
  • Experience working closely with product managers in product development, including the application of data analysis to inform the prioritisation of new features or enhancements to existing ones
  • Ability to clearly articulate insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including those without a technical background. This includes excellent written and verbal communication skills

BONUS SKILLS

  • Previous experience working with Looker
  • Practical experience with an analytical programming language such as R or Python for data manipulation
  • Knowledge of user research and design thinking principles
  • Experience with roadmap planning, understanding how data analysis informs the prioritisation of new features or enhancements to existing ones

Responsibilities:

Data analysis and insights generation

  • Conduct thorough data analysis using statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to product performance and user behaviour
  • Propose data-informed product changes or enhancements to improve user engagement and product performance
  • Monitor product KPIs and user engagement metrics, identifying areas for improvement or optimization
  • Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards for tracking product metrics, ensuring accuracy and relevance of the data presented
