We are looking for colleagues to join our fast-growing Product Management team. This team is charged with developing new and innovative insurance products as well as managing our growing and increasingly diversified national portfolio of admitted and surplus lines products. More flexible and fast-paced than a traditional carrier, we are looking for individuals with a variety of insurance backgrounds who are energized by a highly collaborative environment and are seeking opportunities to build products, process, and structure from the ground up!
As a Product Analyst on the Process and Solutions team, you will support the development of best practices, tools and technologies that are leveraged across the Product Management team and support the implementation of new products, specifically in the area of Forms and Regulatory Filings. You will work closely with peer Product Management colleagues as well as key partners such as IT and Compliance to develop sustainable and effective ways for growing and managing our product portfolio. You will gain exposure to all products and markets at MSI!
Key Responsibilities:
- Support policy form and endorsement development and management across all lines of business
- Support regulatory filing process for both new and existing programs across all lines of business
- Partner with Compliance to file and implement state required form changes to existing programs
- Support various countrywide filing projects and identify/follow state-specific filing requirements
- Support the Product Management team in various business requirements and communicate progress with key stakeholders
- Develop new contractual language to meet the demand for new and innovative coverage
- Communicate effectively with external regulators in writing and verbally, to support business outcomes, leveraging SERFF and other state filing platforms
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Related experience in insurance product management and process improvement. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry
- Well organized with a strong attention to detail
- Desire to solve problems, think analytically and make things better
- High degree of comfort assessing and working across a variety of technology platforms
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work as a team player to deliver results effectively and efficiently to a variety of customers
