JOB SUMMARY:

The Product Analyst II plays a critical role on the development team. This position will be engaged in design, building, implementation and support of ITG Care Management enterprise applications. This person will collaborate with other members of the development team to ensure quality application code deployments are delivered on time following business owner specifications and HCA ITG development standards. This position will require a candidate who is willing to learn how to analyze business requirements, perform design tasks, construct, test and implement solutions with some supervision. The candidate will need to be able to work across a mixed team environment and leverage the strengths and talents of other colleagues. The candidate will need to be a highly motivated self-starter, an enthusiastic learner, and must be committed to delivering high quality solutions within scheduled timelines.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstration of and belief in the Agile mindset
  • 1-2+ years of experience in coordinating development releases
  • 1-2+ years of experience with PEGA Systems
  • 1-2+ years working with object-oriented design, SQL, and web programming required
  • Delivery of past software systems with documented value required
  • Prefer a Certified Pega Business Architect (CBA) and/or;
  • Prefer a Certified Pega System Architect (CSA)
  • Strong focus on delivering customer value required
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving abilities required
  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to work with staff and business required
  • Willingness to learn our business domain required
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Closely collaborates with all team members to successfully plan and execute deployment releases
  • Identifies and documents all prerequisites required for a successful release
  • Oversees deployment activities from each development environment
  • Tracks and ensures all steps required for a deployment are completed without issues
  • Collaborates with IT management to minimize the disruptions caused by unplanned deployments
  • Identifies and communicates risks to raise awareness and collaborates with team members to mitigate or reduce the probability
  • Creates product files with all identified rulesets for upcoming releases
  • Submits service requests to surface and track issues with vendors to resolution
  • Schedules and coordinates release discussions to align all team members on scope and timing
  • Maintains and communicates the release management schedule
  • Plans and implements rollback steps when needed
  • Communicates release status/outcomes to leadership and stakeholders
  • Looks for ways to improve processes, enable more efficient methods
  • Demonstrates value-based decision making and Agile principles across teams
  • Shares knowledge and experience to contribute to growth of overall team capabilities
  • Focuses on customer satisfaction
  • Works in an environment with rapidly changing business requirements and priorities
  • Contributor to the team’s continuous integration, delivery and improvement
