Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: circa £58,000 depending on experience
Location: Canary Wharf
WFH policy: Employees are required to attend the office 2 days/week
Flexible working: Informal flexible work patterns subject to line manager discretion including a 9-day fortnight.

Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY:

This position sits in the Product team within the Operations Hub. The Product Analyst will play a crucial part in the delivery of the product and services suite for the LCCC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Their primarily role will be in supporting the Product Team increase the efficiency and impact of Product delivery, by adopting the following responsibilities:

User research & analysis: Creating and analysing user and stakeholder feedback loops to produce insights the Product Owners can use to inform their backlogs. This will include:

  • Interpreting user experience feedback;
  • Carrying out user feedback interviews;
  • Writing user stories;
  • A/B testing ideas with the help of UI/UX and usability testing;
  • Identifying trends.

Communication & Engagement: This area is key both within the team and cross-functionally. It looks to standardise user and stakeholder involvement based on engagement strategies, which will involve facilitating relevant forums, chairing user feedback sessions and delivering stakeholder engagement plans. The Product Analyst, will also be leading agenda discussions, minuting decisions and tracking actions relevant to the Products the team manage.
Product Discovery: This area aims to streamline and support product discovery. The Product Analyst will be engaging with users and stakeholders to perform discovery, collaborate on writing test cases and scripts and hosting UAT sessions. They will also be leading on creating processes that will make the product experimentation and discovery implementable. They will work closely with the Product Owners in routine product tasks, such as Agile Scrum events and roadmapping.
Documentation: The Product Analyst will create and maintain documentation related to product requirements, decisions, analysis, release notes, video demonstrations, etc. They will be also be delivering frequent product updates via the different communication channels set up by the team.
Establishing Product Metrics: The Product Analyst will be supporting other Product tasks including Sprint Planning events and documentation, participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, monitoring product key performance indicators (KPIs), and in identifying areas for further improvement.
Requirements Gathering: Taking responsibility for progressing tickets from Backlog to In Refinement. This will include arranging meetings needed to progress tickets and comprehensively and accurately recording conversations in user stories with test scenarios.
Continuous learning: They will strive to keep informed of best and novel practices in both Product Management, Analysis, and Operations. This role may also present an opportunity to train up as a Product Owner, as role cover and shadowing opportunities will arise within the team.
