REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in software or systems engineering, data analytics, accounting, mathematic, statistics or related STEM areas
  • 5+ years’ experience in pricing strategy, technical business analysis, product management, or related fields
  • Advanced level of Excel financial modelling skills
  • Experience within a few of the below areas:
  • Consumer facing, complicated web-apps or products
  • Trade studies of technology providers
  • Identifying integration and API requirements
  • Market and competitive analysis
  • Vendor selection and management
  • License terms and contract negotiation
  • Development of licensing models for cloud software
  • Strong skills across problem-solving, logic and research
  • Strong organisation skills, detail orientated, and a collaborative team player
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present and discuss complex information, analysis, and findings

Responsibilities:

Our Product Analyst will specialise in data driven analyses to develop pricing strategies, manage our vendor relationships, as well as support cross product road mapping and management. You will work within our Product Management team to contribute to our competitive positioning to develop product strategies and roadmaps.

Pricing analysis & modelling

  • Lead the creation and execution of pricing and cost strategies and models across all products
  • Maintain pricing and quoting tools for use by sales team
  • Engage and communicate with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, sales, finance etc.) to gather valuable insights for pricing strategies
  • Produce documentation of results and findings, with the ability to interpret and present back to the business.

Vendor management & assessment

  • Identify and evaluates vendors
  • Evaluate vendor solutions from technical and pricing perspective
  • Negotiate and manage commercial agreements and contracts with vendors
  • Understand licencing options
  • Maintenance of pricing for contracts and special pricing agreements
  • Maintains ongoing vendor relationships and re-negotiates contracts when required

Product definition and specification

  • Assist Product Managers in writing product concepts, technical requirements and other documents in support of product development activities
  • Work with stakeholders to elicit and refine requirements, including clients, other product team members and the Tradecraft team
  • Perform ongoing product user testing to ensure compliance with concepts and requirements
