REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a managed hosting or cloud services environment.
  • Proven experience with delivering automated customer facings solutions at scale.
  • Strong background in security practices and protocols.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Expertise in virtualisation technologies, such as VMware, KVM
  • Extensive experience with web hosting platforms such as Plesk, cPanel, and DirectAdmin.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Desirable knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Product Architect / Solutions Lead, you will be at the forefront of our product innovation, responsible for leading a team of solutions architects, validating new technologies, and building Proof of Concepts (POCs). You will play a crucial role in improving performance, maintaining existing capabilities, and ensuring our products are always up to date. Your expertise in, VMware, KVM, and desirable knowledge of Azure and AWS, combined with your background in security, Linux, Windows, and web hosting platforms like Plesk, cPanel, and DirectAdmin, will be essential. Additionally, your familiarity with automation as you collaborate with Product Owners to deliver both new and enhanced products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Mentor a team of solutions architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Validate and integrate new technologies to enhance our hosting products and features.
  • Develop and build POCs to demonstrate the feasibility and potential of new solutions.
  • Continuously improve the performance and reliability of existing hosting products.
  • Ensure all capabilities are current and aligned with industry standards and customer needs.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to understand requirements and deliver high-quality products.
  • Maintain and update expertise in virtualisation technologies such, as VMware, KVM, Azure, AWS, and other relevant technologies.
  • Leverage your knowledge in security, Linux, Windows, and web hosting platforms (Plesk, cPanel, DirectAdmin) to enhance our offerings.
