Description:

At ING Australia, the Consumer Lending Tribe is responsible for driving the end to end performance of the Personal Loans and Credit Cards product businesses through development of a clear strategy, and working collaboratively with all areas of the business to drive cross functional execution of this strategy.
In a time of extremely exciting growth, we are currently recruiting for three Product Area Lead (Head Of) positions: Product Area Lead - Origination , Product Area Lead – Safe Business and Product Area Lead – Pricing and Credit Risk. These three positions will be pivotal leadership positions within the Consumer Lending Tribe, helping to shape and drive the Consumer Lending initiatives of ING Australia.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Consumer Lending acquisition and channel strategy working closely with Marketing, Sales, Digital, Customer Interactions, Tech, Credit Operations, Credit Risk and the Consumer Lending Tribe to develop product journeys to both acquire new customers and cross sell to existing customers
  • Develop and oversee implementation of the roadmap for a market-leading direct, digital application to approval experience for new and existing ING customers
  • Work closely with Digital, Marketing and CI to optimise performance through digital sales channels including sales efficiency and incentives. Regularly listening to feedback to ensure product, process and policy opportunities are optimised
  • Work with Contact Centre, Operations and Customer Experience teams to analyse moments of truth and monitor customer feedback to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience – including product, process and service improvements
  • Lead a team of professionals with deep expertise to achieve the growth aspirations of the tribe, whilst developing their careers, and supporting a strong “orange” culture of can-do and
  • Lead agile delivery of continuous improvement in our systems and processes

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance the safety and resilience of business operations, focusing on proactive risk management collaborating with the end-to-end value chain to align safe business practices with organisational goals
  • Actively craft the 2032 strategy with the broader Mortgage E2E Leadership Team with a specific vision and focus on what risk management will look like from a process, people and policy point of view
  • Lead the craftmanship associated with the timely identification, escalation, and resolution of issues and events. In parallel, implementing proactive measures to prevent the recurrence of issues and improve overall risk resilience whilst also implementing preventative measures to minimise potential risks and enhance the organisation’s risk profile holistically
  • Assume accountability for IT risk management, working closely with CIO teams to identify, assess and proactively mitigate emerging risks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing safe business practices. Collaborate with legal and compliance to address regulatory requirements and changes

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead and execute pricing strategy across new and existing customer segments to support growth, revenue and return objectives
  • Drive reduction in portfolio attrition by developing pricing strategies to extend customer tenure and reduce churn, optimising the balance between retained value and cost to retain
  • Accurately forecast and managing both near term and long term revenue and portfolio growth for the mortgages business
  • Build and manage first line Credit Risk capability for Personal Loans and Credit Cards
  • Influence Credit Risk and initiating change requests to modify and simplify credit risk policy and process to drive portfolio growth within RAS, reduce time to yes, and support increased decision automation
  • Lead a team of professionals with deep expertise to achieve the growth aspirations of the tribe, whilst developing their careers, and supporting a strong “orange” culture of can-do and collaboration
