ABOUT MOVEMBER

Movember is the leading Men’s Health Organisation and Charity changing the face of men’s health globally, tackling mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. In our mission to stop men dying too young, we’re seeking a Product Delivery Lead to join our Movember tech team based in Australia.

Responsibilities:

SOME RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Work with stakeholders, customers, product managers & UX to understand business and customer needs & problems.
  • Participate in design process’ to establish solution options.
  • Work collaboratively with product, design, content, tech and business to produce requirements (epics/user stories/spikes etc) at a cadence that matches the product development teams needs.
  • Generate requirement and solution design documents, business process diagrams, data dictionaries, requirement analysis maps, user stories and use cases, interface specification documents, functional and non-functional specification documents.
  • Keep the product backlog groomed.
  • Work with product managers to ensure the teams delivery timelines & milestones are aligned to the timeline and milestones of external streams (eg marketing).
  • Ensure the teams working priorities align to the products direction (not set the product direction).
  • Influence and contribute to product strategy and roadmaps.
  • Ensure team ceremonies are facilitated effectively and meeting their intended outcomes.
  • Guide the team through a process of continuous improvement.
  • Proactively establish and maintain healthy relationships with all members of the team.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, concise, testable and accurate user stories & process flows.
  • Identify and implement improvement to the team’s ways of working.
  • Work with technical leadership to assess new technologies and ensure our technology decisions align to Movember best practice and can be operationalised.
  • Keep senior stakeholders informed and engaged, manage risks and issues and coordinate releases.
  • Manage external and internal delivery dependencies.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED:

  • Experience in leading and mentoring teams.
  • Demonstrated experience executing effective product development ways of working.
  • An outstanding track record of delivering product solutions to market.
  • Ability to work at multiple levels – from user experience through to technology architecture, and management.
  • Excellent adaptive team leadership capabilities including the ability to foster productive team dynamics, engage and enable teams and coach for performance.
  • Strong discovery experience – a demonstrated problem solver with a curious mindset that asks and answers the ‘why’ underpinning initiatives.
  • Business Analyst Techniques including preparation of Business Requirements Documents, Requirements Traceability Matrix, Process Models, Data Analysis and Modelling, Business Use Case models, Business Use Case specifications, User Stories.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills; express ideas and thoughts in a clear manner, able to actively listen to ensure that ideas generated by stakeholders are clearly understood and documented.
