Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a- Product Design Engineer for our client, based in Kilkenny City.

Key duties & responsibilities:
- Advising Customers: Helping customers choose custom options from the available range.
- Administrative Tasks: Handling emails, entering data in Excel, managing ongoing projects.
- Coordinating Installations: Sending quotes and drawings for approval, ordering materials, scheduling installation dates, and coordinating deliveries.
- Supporting Fitters and Retailers: Assisting with missing information, resolving issues, and providing technical support.
- Aftercare: Resolving any product issues or providing spare parts as needed.
- Design Consultation: Discussing new design requests with customers over the phone to find solutions.
- Drawing: Creating detailed drawings using CAD or Solidworks for layouts, production, and labelling.
- Technical Support: Helping warehouse staff with production-related questions.
- Problem-Solving: Using visual and spatial skills to resolve technical issues.
What are we looking for?
- Background in engineering, construction, or technical fields.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a product design role with customer service facing.
- Strong CAD & Solidworks experience.
- IT Skill- MS Office suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Innovative & able to take ownership of tasks.
- Highly organized and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
