PRODUCT DESIGN EXECUTIVE

As a Product Design Executive, you will need to develop design through sketches, prototypes, renderings and communicating with manufacturers. You will be regularly presenting design works to various decision makers. You will be involved in developing products from concept to factory production while keeping within budgets and timelines.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Diploma or Degree in 3D Design/Furniture Design/Product Design/Interior Design or any related field
• Preferably with 1-2 years’ experience in product related field with Advanced AutoCAD skills, Adobe CS skills (Photoshop, Illustrator etc) or knowledge in Sketchup
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong negotiating and planning skills, strong analytical problem solving and time management skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Possess multi-tasking skills and flexibility in handling multiple projects
• Responsible, creative, and able to work independently
• Be meticulous, team player and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadline in a fast-paced environment

• Responsible for the preparation of design documentation, including tender, construction and detailing drawings.
• Responsible for rendering plans and sections and elevations, translate concept design into working documents for all phases of the process.
• Assist in technical & product research & review with the design team
• Assist in setting up and maintaining an updated filing system with design documents and CAD standards.
• Assist to review shop drawings accordingly to design documentation
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned and required by the company
