Responsibilities:

  • Translating the goal of the product into a functional and beautiful user experience; both new products/features and enhancing existing product features.
  • Remaining up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and consumer preferences and using these to inform our design decisions.
  • Validating and iterating on designs using customer and stakeholder feedback.
  • Working closely with Product Owners/ Managers, and Engineering team, to ensure the design is achievable and considers functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Using data to inform decision making.
  • Ensuring the user experience is intuitive and reduces points of friction for customers and consumers.
  • Taking accountability for maintaining the design system and ensuring consistency and coherence across the entire product.
  • Present product design ideas to leadership and external partners and take direction whenever necessary.
