Product Designer (FinTech)

This is a newly created role for a talented UI/UX Designer to join a fast paced FinTech, based in Singapore.
The company is a large fintech with an powerful presence in Singapore and the wider region. This is a permanent role suitable for someone in early stages of their career (3 years +) with appetite to grow their skillset in Product Design in FinTech.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain the UI design system, ensuring consistency in design language throughout.
• Identify and troubleshoot key issues, create innovative solutions.
• Balance business requirements with a customer-centric design approach, creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and propose simple solutions, particularly for complex problems, and align visual designs with website and app functionalities.
• Communicate ideas, designs, and suggestions clearly and effectively.
• Plan and conduct user research, usability testing and discovery workshops to generate actionable insights.
• Stay up to date with industry best practises / advancements.

Key Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience in UI/UX Design / Product Design, having worked with tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Photoshop.
• Experience in digital banking or FinTech is preferred, otherwise eCommerce is suitable.
• Ability to speak Mandarin comfortably, as you’ll be working with team mates based in China. This is a must-have, candidates who cannot speak Mandarin will not be shortlisted.
• You must not need a visa to work in Singapore.
