• Proven experience in UX/UI design, ideally in a startup or dynamic business environment.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Extensive experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Confidence in presenting and articulating design concepts to stakeholders.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented Product Designer (UX/UI) to join our startup as a freelancer and shape the future of digital health by creating intuitive, engaging, and innovative user experiences for our flagship SaaS product, the Biolytica NEXUS platform. You will be responsible for crafting user-centric designs that meet the needs of our diverse user base and help us revolutionize the healthcare landscape.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• User Research: Conduct user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of our users, and use these insights to inform design decisions.
• UX/UI Design: Develop and deliver wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions.
• Design System: Establish and maintain a design system to ensure a consistent and cohesive user experience across all product interfaces.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and clinicians, to ensure that design solutions are feasible and aligned with business objectives.
• Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing to gather feedback on design solutions and iterate based on user feedback to enhance usability and functionality.
• Visual Design: Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that adhere to best practices and accessibility standards.
• Documentation: Produce and maintain design documentation to guide development and ensure design consistency throughout the product lifecycle.
• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve our product design.
