Is a well-known and highly regarded retail and wholesale classic, ageless, womenswear emerging brand. Boasting a portfolio of over 30+ retail stores across Australia.
Based in Alexandria.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Product development of garments, trims and accessories including tech pack and CAD creation
  • Experience with Offshore garment manufacturing, factory communication & price negotiation.
  • Thorough knowledge of garment development and construction, preferably within womenswear.
  • Experience with QA procedures such as fabric testing and pre-production quality checks
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team of Garment techs, Designers and Production manager.
  • High attention to detail & strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to be agile and work reactively to trade results, actioning changes to forward collections in and throughout development pipeline.Passion & genuine interest in women’s clothing with a focus on exceptional quality.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a product developer , you will have a collaborative approach and be dedicated and responsible for contributing to the development, production, and quality assurance of all the company product from initial development through to shipment sample. Working closely with the Design & Production teams to execute efficient and timely development that meets both exceptional quality standards and obtains optimal margin.
This role will provide a bridge between Production and Design teams as a link that is consistently involved with the product from conception to final sample and drives solid QA processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality product.
