Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager, we are looking for someone who is skilled in leading the development of air conditioning systems, bringing together elements of mechanical, electronic hardware and software design to deliver to product feature needs. An integral member of a multidisciplinary engineering project, you will support the delivery of the Product development roadmaps from concept generation to production release.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Work collaboratively with the Project Manager to new projects are delivered in full and on time
  • New product development
  • System Engineering
  • Plan & conduct integration testing to supports the stepwise integration of components and subsystems to achieve a total system
  • Plan & coordinate compliance & safety testing for product registration and safety requirements
  • Documentation of all testing including detailed method, instruments used, data captured, analysis, results and conclusion
  • Product documentatio

There are a few essential tools you will need under your belt to be successful in this role:

  • Proven experience in refrigeration or air conditioning equipment design, integration, and system performance diagnosis.
  • Understanding of fundamental engineering knowledge related to HVAC, e.g., heat transfer, fluid dynamics.
  • Experience in a Product Development.
  • Data analysis skills – Python, R.
  • Collaborative attitude and work well in team environmen
