Description:

This team manages the Restricted Substance Management Process, responsible for helping plants and programs ensure that there are no restricted substances present in vehicles and plant facilities.

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience in regulatory material compliance
  • Experience with Recyclability Reusability and Recoverability (RRR) regulation and calculation
  • Proficient in FEDE sign off of RQT002901-008095
  • Proficient in the use of the International Material Data System (IMDS)
  • Strong familiarity with various global regulations including EU, Korea and China End of Life Vehicle Directive (ELV), EU and UK Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), North American EPA/TSCA, Canadian Chemical Challenge, US SEC Conflict Minerals and TSCA Transportation regulations.
  • Proficient in Ford systems including GMM, GMA, CMMS, WERS, FEDE and Global Integrator
  • Ability to query databases to extract reports and conduct data analysis using various software/tools, Excel, PPT, One Note etc

LI-Hybrid

  • Supply Chain Management: Interface with global external suppliers and internal engineers, functions and programs, cascade and implement Corporate requirements related to materials and substances regulations, e.g., Restricted Substances Management Standard (RSMS), End of Life Vehicle Directive (ELV), Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), EPA/TSCA, Conflict Minerals Transportation regulations.
  • Generate various regulatory compliance reports and conduct various analyses for programs/functions using Ford’s Global Material Management tools (GMM/GMA) and the International Materials Data System (IMDS); facilitate and attend various compliance review/issue resolution meetings and vehicle program meetings to ensure material compliance.
  • Complete required government material compliance documentation for RRR (recycling, recoverables and renewables) requirements for all vehicle programs going to Europe, China and South Korea.
  • Maintain corporate RSMS restricted substance lists, maintain and improve various GMM tools/systems
  • Lead Ford Conditional IMDS Approval Process Globally
  • Assist with Department Budget Management
