Summary: Reporting directly to the Manager of Product Development Fragrance, this role within the pivotal Product Development department will be focused on the development of products within the Fragrance Category. Product research, presentations, colour work, sample organisation, and product testing coordination will play a big part of the day-to day duties, as well as general team support and admin. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the world of fragrance and have a strong eye for detail.

REQUIREMENTS

• A first experience within the beauty/ fragrance industry – in product development preferred
• Self-motivated, eloquent and dedicated to the brand to become a positive member of the team
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, able to seek answers independently
• Attention to detail while being involved in multiple fast moving, quick changing projects
• Strong research skills
• Adaptable and flexible team player, conscious of team dynamics, open to quick change
• Have a passion for and knowledge of the beauty industry – brands, products, bloggers and influencers
• Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Forward thinker with a Kaizen (continuous improvement) mentality, who actively seeks opportunities to improve and proposes solutions

• Conduct in-house, internal evaluation of submissions for note preferences, product performance, scent, and present results and findings to team.
• Support the Product Development team in receiving submissions, labeling standards, establishing and maintaining an organized system of project bins, archives formulas from contract manufacturers for future reference.
• Provide all artwork information (INCI, Claim results…) and their translations for primary and secondary packaging to Design Lead for artwork briefing in time for artwork due dates.
• Build creative moodboards and detailed briefs for sets and merchandising items.
• Approval of lab standards with Manager and dispatch standards to relevant parties.
• Enhance the effectiveness and productivity of the PD team by supporting daily functions as needed.
• With support of PD Manager & wider team, attendance in weekly meetings with Founder for product testing, alignment & approval.
• Assist the teams in preparing submissions for Mona and manage the delivery to her in a timely fashion.
