Description:
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working on customer and internal projects in accordance with the valid organizational instructions while complying with local and global standards
- Developing products by taking into account costs, deadlines, quality and manufacturing feasibility
- Evaluating the technical aspects of customer requirements specifications and deriving the associated technical specifications
- Preparing calculation and RFQ documents and, if necessary, obtaining quotations in the development phase in coordination with purchasing
- Leading project teams in development projects or challenging projects. (new application locations, new processes, new products)
- Participating in Continuous Improvement Program measures
- Responsible for technical project documentation and reporting in accordance with the valid organizational instructions and, if applicable, customer specifications
- Providing expert, methodological support to staff
- Coordinating external development partners and/or sub-suppliers
- Holding technical presentations on site at customer premises and assisting with sales
- Reviewing patents in relation to affected products.
Minium Qualifications:
- Completed bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
