Description:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working on customer and internal projects in accordance with the valid organizational instructions while complying with local and global standards
  • Developing products by taking into account costs, deadlines, quality and manufacturing feasibility
  • Evaluating the technical aspects of customer requirements specifications and deriving the associated technical specifications
  • Preparing calculation and RFQ documents and, if necessary, obtaining quotations in the development phase in coordination with purchasing
  • Leading project teams in development projects or challenging projects. (new application locations, new processes, new products)
  • Participating in Continuous Improvement Program measures
  • Responsible for technical project documentation and reporting in accordance with the valid organizational instructions and, if applicable, customer specifications
  • Providing expert, methodological support to staff
  • Coordinating external development partners and/or sub-suppliers
  • Holding technical presentations on site at customer premises and assisting with sales
  • Reviewing patents in relation to affected products.

Minium Qualifications:

  • Completed bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
