Product Engineer (Wire Harness & Box-Build)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Conduct manufacturability assessments for new projects, finalize RFQ BOMs, determine working hours, assess equipment/treatment tools, and evaluate packaging requirements.
• Lead and facilitate the implementation of new projects (NPI), addressing any issues that arise during the process.
• Review customer data prior to sampling, establish system item numbers & BOMs, and procure new equipment/treatment tools as needed.
• Provide guidance for the production process, release raw material drawings, define test parameters, and generate relevant initial project documents such as PFEMA.
• Coordinate initiation meetings for sample preparation, resolve technical/abnormal issues, monitor sample production progress, verify sample and process compliance, optimize working hours, and compile technical reports for samples.
• Manage engineering changes and provide technical support to production, quality assurance, sales, and other departments.Fulfill other responsibilities as delegated by leadership.

JOB REQUIREMENTS：

• Min Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years experience in wires, cables, harness assemblies and box-build or relevant position an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Candidate who can start work early will be preferred.
• Able to work under fast-pace environment.
• Team player with good working attitude.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates.
