Description:

At our Sydney Head Office, we’re home to dynamic teams dedicated to unravelling intricate industry problems. Currently, we’re on the lookout for a seasoned expert in global trade compliance to advise our development and product teams. This role is at the forefront of research and design, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of compliance.
This opportunity is best suited to an analytical person who has the attention to detail required to read regulatory and legal texts and filter out applicable compliance requirements. The successful candidate will be a clear communicator who is able to respond to customer and internal teams with detailed answers to compliance questions.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Experience conducting root cause analysis and keeping up to date with relevant regulations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory texts supporting the industry.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Regularly reviewing and evaluating existing regulations within supply chain and logistics.
  • Keeping abreast of upcoming compliance requirements by monitoring customs and industry regulator news.
  • Analysing compliance claims from customers and providing regulatory evidence to support or deny them.
  • Filtering regulatory details to identify those relevant to our business needs captured in our flagship products, CargoWise.
  • Communicating complex compliance issues to our product and development teams to inform design decisions.
  • Providing support across teams in various areas of supply chain compliance.
