Come join the team responsible for driving the development of complex detector modules for X-Ray and CT scanning applications using Photon Counting Computed Tomography (PCCT) CZT sensors, through to NPI. As a Module Development Engineer in the Product Integration Test Team, you will join the team responsible for ensuring the seamless integration and testing of our cutting-edge solid-state radiation detectors & detector module assemblies, which include custom mixed signal ASICs, embedded controllers, and FPGA-based logic.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems or Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- Experience in medical imaging, nuclear medicine, or non-destructive testing environments is highly valued.
Salary Range: $70,000-90,000 CAD

Qualifications:Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a test engineering role or similar.
- Proficiency in software programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, C++, and C#.
- Demonstrated ability to apply statistical tools such as JMP or Minitab to solve practical problems.
- Experience working on designs and solutions exhibiting elegantly simple designs founded on strong thought processes and first principles.
- Experience with equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic probes, meters, SMUs, high voltage DC supplies
- Knowledge of HW circuits and PCB debug strateg
Responsibilities:
- Development and Testing:
- Develop a comprehensive test framework specifically dedicated to X-ray detectors for medical applications.
- Lead the integration of products and test systems, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
- Support high-volume factory acceptance tests and conduct thorough hardware and software testing.
- Problem Solving and Technical Support:
- Address and solve technical issues for internal and external customers, ranging from straightforward to complex systems challenges, including for hardware, software, firmware, and imaging.
- Provide technical support to the Test Infrastructure and Validation teams.
- Examine test escapes and field returns to understand failure modes and lessons learned.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Provide periodic progress reports on issue resolution, test plans, and process improvements.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of testing protocols and results.
- Other duties as assigned.
