About the Role
To develop insurance products to meet customer needs, to support product implementation activities, to supervise post-launch product performance & to support product marketing initiatives, in order to achieve company’s overall business and strategic goals!

Responsibilities:

• Support Development of / Develop driven and innovative product solutions (including product propositions) to address customer needs and assist in the development of product strategy as assigned.
• Support product implementation activities under the purview of Product Development department.
• Perform market scan & competitor analysis and support Product Team Lead in monitoring & reviewing assigned product group(s).
• Support in pre- and post-product launch activities, to achieve the new product sales targets.
• Support in addressing product related queries, issues, and maintenance of products post-launch.
• Support initiatives to drive towards company targets.
• Ensure the product development and implementation processes are in aligned with regulatory guidelines, group governance structures and risk & compliance standards.
• Ensure that shared product resources (e.g., product document templates, product database, shared folders etc.) are kept up to date in a timely manner.
• Ensure that products under care are in line with company’s Targets for e.g. VoNB, OPAT.
• Produce high quality work efficiently.
• Ensure that work produced is in line with fair dealing outcomes 2 & 4 and errors within targets set by FDC.

What we are looking for:

• The incumbent is expected to have a good understanding of the Singapore insurance & financial markets and to stay on top of market / economic developments to identify and take advantage of product opportunities.
• The incumbent is also required to perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by Product Team Lead or Head of Product Management & Pricing in order to meet other requirements/responsibilities of the department.
• Degree holders, preferably in Business, insurance, actuarial fields.
• Preferably at least 4 - 5 years of releted experience in Product Development or Actuarial work in the Insurance industry.
• Preferably with accreditation in relevant modules such as LOMA, M5/M9/HI or actuarial exams.
• Proficiency in English, both speech and writing. Proficiency in another language would be a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office.
