    This role can be based out of London, Luxembourg, Berlin, Munich or Barcelona, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with Amazon’s current flexible work guidance.

Key job responsibilities

  • Define new products and services for Amazon’s freight partners, including negotiating with large vendors to introduce new offerings
  • Own the full lifecycle of freight programmes, from scoping and creation through implementation, working closely with senior programme and product managers
  • Collect and translate requirements, ensure alignment with corporate objectives and contractual obligations, and define the technical and resource needs for timely programme delivery
  • Collaborate with external partners to drive programme adoption and successful implementation
  • Develop business cases, conduct research and analysis, write specifications, and guide product development from design to release
  • Provide clear, regular communication to all stakeholders, including project status reports and requirement documentation
  • Retrieve and analyze data using various tools to monitor project execution, quality, and target dates, maintaining overall program integrity

A day in the life
As a Senior Product Manager for Amazon Transportation Services (ATS), you will play a critical role in driving the growth and transformation of our Middle Mile transportation network. In this position, you will leverage your negotiation and vendor management skills to engage with key partners and introduce new freight services that support our strategic objectives. Working closely with the Programme Development team, you will be responsible for defining, scoping, and implementing initiatives that build out our carrier pool in alignment with the broader ATS EU strategy. This will involve balancing performance and budget goals, as well as influencing senior leadership on the long-term direction of the Middle Mile business. Your data-driven, strategic mindset will be essential as you work to redefine the current transportation environment, identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency. Whether collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders or presenting your vision to executive sponsors, you will demonstrate visionary leadership and creative problem-solving to turn ambitious goals into tangible results.
