Job Description:
Ivans, a division of Applied Systems, is seeking a Product Manager responsible for prioritizing and delivering robust capabilities that allow our business’s platform, which includes systems, services, and codebases, to integrate and transmit data to support current and future Ivans products. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with the Development Team and Product Team to define and manage the vision and roadmap of the platform to drive continued innovation, while evaluating the market and corporate priorities, development timelines, and release readiness with a focus on execution and delivery. As a key member of the team, they will have a critical role in shaping the connectivity and workflows of the platform. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office
  • Ability to travel

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

  • 3 - 5 years of Professional experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst in an Agile development environment
  • Experience developing product strategies and roadmaps focused on outcomes; utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities and measure success
  • Strong collaborator with strategic planning experience
  • Great communicator able to tell effectively tell the story of technical innovation and get other to share that story
  • Demonstrated experience tracking industry trends, technology trends, and the competitive landscape to inform product differentiation
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the areas of Information Science, Computer Science, or related disciplines

Additionally, you may have:

  • Insurance Carrier or Broker experience
  • Experience with APIs
  • Jira/Confluence experience or similar project management tools

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with internal and stakeholders to understand their needs and gather requirements for new features and enhancements
  • Maintain, refine, and prioritize backlog. Define requirements, User stories, and acceptance criteria, and follow agile principles to develop and deliver
  • Work with the core product teams to understand client base, future product direction, and currently identified areas targeted for growth
  • Participate in product roadmap/release plan activities to ensure that cross-product opportunities are identified, planned, and delivered
  • Ensure appropriate support processes are in place; track and correct product performance/support problems
  • Be an ambassador to the internal team, explaining complex solutions, and creating flexible offerings when needed
  • Establish key monthly platform measurements to track performance including revenue, use in customer base, sales projections, profitability, product performance, and quality
  • Responsible partnering with other Product Managers to meet release deadlines
  • Performs other duties as assigned by immediate manager or management team.
