JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role as Product Manager Automotive (m/f/d) Power Electronics in Semikron Danfoss, you will define product strategies, -platforms and -portfolios with a strong value proposition for key market segments based an market insights and internal resources considering technical and commercial aspects as well as competitive landscape. Our products play a key role in making a greener and more sustainable future with automotive applications.
The position is located in Flensburg.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

For this role, you have earned an engineering degree and gained experience in product marketing or product management in a technical environment, preferably in power electronics.

Further, we would like to see:

  • Ideally market knowledge of power semiconductors and automotive power modules
  • Strong interest in commercial/business affairs
  • Proven capability in handling cross-functional projects and being effective while interfacing with different teams
  • Excellent communication skills when discussing with and presenting to different audiences
  • Fluent English language skills, German language skills are beneficial

Responsibilities:

  • Provide product strategic direction to ensure profitable growth; contribute towards global sales strategies within automotive applications
  • Present product ideas and proposals to the leadership team following established approval processes
  • Build business cases for product platforms
  • Initiate and coordinate platform development programs in cooperation with sales and applications specialists and in alignment with R&D
  • Lead marketing activities at trade shows in conjunction with marketing and strategy
  • Manage product platforms over their entire lifecycle
  • Where applicable, create sales tools, product value proposition material, product roadmaps, define target pricing and conduct technical workshops together with application specialists
