EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering digital products and driving business results.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field – OR – relevant certifications in product management preferred
  • Strong familiarity with CRM systems (E.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Hubspot) is a MUST for this position, as a meaningful portion of the roadmap will involve the migration & improvement of legacy systems and processes into CRM systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience and sufficiency with requirements involving connections with systems and vendors (integrations, APIs, etc.)
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and business and financial concepts
  • Proficiency in project management and product management software.
  • Experience working in digital whiteboarding applications and creating process flow diagrams
  • Bonus: Understanding of the Property and Casualty insurance industry
  • Bonus: Experience with leveraging AI (Machine Learning, GenAI, etc.) to solve business problems

Responsibilities:

  • Product Discovery: Research existing business processes & identify improvement opportunities.
  • Roadmap Development: Serve as Product Owner for multiple Scrum teams, continually managing & grooming product backlogs and participating in daily scrum ceremonies (standups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives) as well as user acceptance testing.
  • Requirements Gathering: Own user product requirements documentation, distilling user needs & product features into stories and manageable development work items
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, service, engineering, other departments, and Executive teams to ensure alignment between product development and business objectives.
  • Technology Integration: Identify opportunities to leverage technology solutions to solve process and business problems, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution: Plan and execute launch checklists, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure internal and external training & documentation.
