Overview:
This position is responsible for supporting the execution of the Mastercard Cross-Border Services Product Management roles and responsibilities. This role works in conjunction with other teams/requestors to draft the business requirements for product development and complete all product and project readiness activities required to commercialize new features and functionalities.
Role
Act as a SME for all aspects of the product, leading and training internal stakeholders and regional partners on how the products works and why. Use Aha Road mapping tool to build product roadmap, prioritize and report on the Product Roadmap. Partner with Product Owners to quantify and elaborate business requirements and ensure what is delivered meets the Product needs and requirements.
Customer Feedback and Insights:
Collect and assess customer feedback, user data, and market insights to gain insights into pain points and areas for enhancement within Cross-Border payment product. Utilize this feedback to prioritize feature improvements and inform strategic decisions regarding product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Engage in collaborative efforts with stakeholders throughout the organization, spanning sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support, to gather input, align priorities, and propel cross-functional initiatives forward. Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders seeking information or updates on Cross-Border payment product, ensuring effective communication and coordination across teams.
Requirements Definition and Documentation:
Collect and document comprehensive requirements for enhancing Cross-Border payment product, ensuring precision and alignment with stakeholder expectations. Convert business requirements into tangible user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications for the engineering team, facilitating effective implementation and alignment with project objectives.
Release Planning and Execution:
Coordinate closely with engineering teams to strategize and execute product releases, ensuring the punctual delivery of features and improvements. Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of new functionalities to guarantee their quality and reliability prior to customer release.
Prototype Development and Testing:
Supervise the creation of prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs) to validate new concepts with intended users. Conduct user testing sessions and collect feedback to iterate on prototypes, refining product features before proceeding with full-scale implementation.
Performance Tracking and Optimization:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the effectiveness of new product and features and consistently track performance against predefined targets. Utilize data analytics and user feedback to pinpoint areas for optimization and ongoing improvement, iterating on product features and strategies as necessary to enhance overall performance.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools.

  • We also value candidates who bring the following additional skills and experiences:

o Experience in correspondent banking model or transaction banking, with a strong understanding of global payment systems and processes.
o Understanding of ISO20022 standards, including knowledge of message formats, syntax, and implementation guidelines.
o Expertise in handling Cross Border large value corporate payments, including familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management practices.
