POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the field of digital data services and/or electronic navigation in maritime industry.
• Deep practical knowledge of vessel navigation/bridge routine.
• Knowledge of up-to-date IT technologies is of benefit.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in leading software development projects.
• Motivated working attitude, business focus and the ability to present and sell our services and develop them further.
• Strong logical mindset and problem-solving attitude.
• Self-responsible & driven working character.
• Systematic, logic and goal-oriented way of working.
• High commitment to the company and to the purpose, vision and values of ChartWorld as well as to the quality of the own work.
• Good communication skills.
• Fluency in English incl. technical terms.
• Fluency in German incl. technical terms would be of benefit.

The job covers an in-depth team working and the following responsibilities:

• Management of entire product life cycle of ChartWorld MyFleet for fleet management from planning to implementation.
• Creation of development specifications and work assignments for software development teams involved.
• Management of related development projects.
• Improvement of workflow of navigational tasks within NavCloud eco system for both ChartWorld ECDIS and 3rd party ECDIS, including proposal for integration related work scope for related products.
• Development of work instructions and documentation.
• Support of QA Team with relevant procedures for monitoring, automatic and manual testing. Participation in sea trials.
• Software releases of MyFleet.
• 2nd level support for CW support team and B2B customers.
• Communications with our key clients and suppliers in the field of task
