The Product Manager is responsible for leading the development and evolution of DIRTT’s Walls and doors product lines. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including commercial, engineering, design, and marketing, to define the product vision, prioritize features, and drive the product development process. The Product Manager is instrumental in ensuring our products drive increased revenue, meet margin targets, meet customer needs, remain competitive, and achieve strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and market trends (Annually).
  • Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines feature priorities and timelines, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to gather and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and use cases.
  • Backlog Management: Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog, ensuring that it reflects the most valuable and achievable features and improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, design, quality assurance, and other teams to guide the product through the development lifecycle.
  • Feature Definition: Clearly define and document product features, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and wireframes where necessary.
  • Release Planning (NPI): Plan and coordinate product releases through NPI and ensure that releases are on time and meet quality standards.
  • User Feedback: Collect and analyze user feedback and market data to make informed decisions and continuously improve the product.
  • Product Metrics: Define and track key product performance metrics, such as user engagement, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Market/Competitor Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and threats to the product.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact product development and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • End of Life management (EoL): Feed initiatives into the EoL council for retirement consideration.
  • MOC: Management of change program where identified ‘must do’s’ fall into the Casework product line are a responsibility for completion by the product manager.
  • Product Evangelism: Act as a product evangelist both internally and externally, educating stakeholders, customers, and partners about the product’s features and benefits.
