Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
As the Product Manager you will lead product management activities for the EMEA region. As a key member of the Product Management team, you will oversee a portfolio of fluid and gas control products that are manufactured across several facilities. You’ll also be responsible for the delivery of profitable growth and increase market share globally, being an expert on the relevant Process Control customer applications.
The Fluid Control sector focuses on delivering cutting-edge solutions for applications demanding meticulous control of fluids and gases, catering to diverse industries such as food and beverage, agriculture, industrial processes, semiconductor manufacturing, and more.
The core product group centers around a diverse range of precision-engineered components, prominently featuring solenoid valves, media-separated valves, proportional valves, fluid control valves, and bespoke solutions tailored to meet unique client requirements.
Location: The ideal candidate will be available for on-site work 1 week of every month at our IMI Bad Oeynhausen site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Become uncontested expert on our customers applications and the use and differentiation of our products in those applications
- Study the competitive landscape to understand current market share and product positioning
- Manage all phases of the product lifecycle, including innovation, launch, modification, VAVE, re-launch and obsolescence
- Map customer applications and determine market size for each products and segments we operate in.
- Continuously monitor market to identify new segments and applications to leverage our Fluid Control product portfolio
- Provide product education and sales enablement by conducting training sessions and leading the development of marketing collateral
- Create comprehensive product launch plans
