THE ROLE

We are looking for a Product Manager to be responsible for our hardware product offering.
The product manager role is the key to product portfolio success by assuring value creation across the product’s life cycle.

As a Product Manager your main tasks will be:

• Managing and guiding product through its lifecycle
• Understanding market requirements and trends of various Kempower customer segments and internal stakeholders
• Bringing company strategy into product vision and road mapping
• Working in cooperation with development team in New Product Development process
• Guiding co-operation with Technical Sales Support function
• Creating necessary product marketing material content such as presentation materials and solution descriptions, supported by the Kempower marketing communications team
• Ensuring commercial success of the products

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

• >5 years’ working experience in similar roles in technology industries
• BSc or MSc degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Technical understanding of electrical engineering relevant to electrification
• You enjoy working with technology in a customer-oriented style
• Have an eye for market trends and new product ideas
• Familiarity with technical normative for electrical equipment
• Enthusiastic attitude and independent working style
  As our official company language is English, proficiency in spoken and written English is required; knowledge of Finnish is seen as a plus.
  The role is hybrid, but we hope that you can visit our headquarters in Lahti frequently to meet the team or if your work tasks so require.
