Your Role and Responsibilities
The Cloud Pak for AIOps is one of the fastest-growing and most powerful AIOps platforms in the IT Operations Management market. Our team is looking for a Product Manager to evaluate opportunities, determine the features and otucomes that drive the greatest revenue for the products in our product portfolio. This position will work with Design and Development to create and deploy competitive offerings. This position will also work with Sales to win competitive opportunities. This position will also work with Marketing to position the product in market and drive pipeline/growth, as well as work with all key Geos to drive business and market understanding. This position will also have interactions with multiple customers, as well as cross-functional teams - having strong communication and organizational skills is an important part of this role. Product Managers at IBM are responsible for defining Business problems, User experiences / pain points, relevant technologies, competitive intelligence, Market financials: size, growth rate, market share % and Market trends. As an Advisory Product Manager, you will: • Utilize Continuous Discovery Habits and Design Thinking to solve customer problems in innovative ways. • Define and maintain user and experience outcome-based product roadmaps. • Collaborate and communicate with other Product Managers in planning processes and coordinate product execution. • Work collaboratively with Engineering and Design to create differentiated product and customer experiences. • Maintain an end-to-end business plan for products in market (including pricing); set detailed direction and priorities across disciplines and monitor follow-through. • Manage products in market and propose ideas to respond to market feedback / changes. • Perform market research to identify new opportunities including competitive research, analyst reports making strategic recommendations for future product direction. • Determine pricing, marketing communication strategy, identify routes to market, and be responsible for enabling the channels working with Go-To-Market teams Successful candidates will possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, a user-centric viewpoint, the drive to maximize market opportunities by designing and developing new offerings and capabilities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Strong experience in engineering product management • Demonstrated experience in defining and driving processes at scale across large organizations. • Organizational and collaboration skills with a demonstrated history of successfully defining and driving initiatives that span multiple organizational boundaries. • Excellent writing and presentation skills. • Demonstrated experience in communicating and reporting to leadership teams. • Demonstrated ability in successfully delivering initiatives with varying levels of ambiguity. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering. • Demonstrated experience in the entire software development life cycle.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • MBA or Masters in Engineering preferred. • Passion for driving increased efficiency across teams in multiple multinational locations.
