Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the General Manager, the Product Manager will work closely with the business to define, implement, and execute the product strategy for all Vault product lines. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing services to developing new services on behalf of the business. The ideal candidate has a background and understanding of the recruiting and academic markets and has a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Deep understanding of product lifecycle management and user-centered design principles.
- In-depth knowledge of the recruiting and academic markets, including key trends and challenges.
- Proficient in software development processes, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum), and relevant technologies.
- Strong grasp of business strategy and ability to translate goals into actionable product strategies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to relay technical details to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills for market research, competitor analysis, and critical evaluation of market needs.
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills to manage roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
- Proven ability to understand customer needs and advocate for them in product decisions.
- Demonstrated curiosity and ability to thrive in an evolving, entrepreneurial environment.
- Nimble and able to pivot quickly based on market changes, customer feedback, or other driving forces.
- Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities to manage risks and balance short-term needs with long-term vision.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ Years Experience in product management, preferably within the recruiting or academic sectors.
