Description:
The Product Manager, Medicare Compliance is responsible to oversee the adherence to Section 111/ Mandatory Insurer Reporting (MIR) compliance. This position has the possibility for remote work from home or hybrid home/office arrangement. The Product Manager, Medicare Compliance provides assistance to internal and external customers to facilitate MIR compliance. Responsibility includes monitoring the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) for issued notices and regulations related to MIR.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance
- Experience within the insurance industry, managed care or related field preferred
Responsibilities:
- Ensures claims Section 111 / Mandatory Insurer Reporting (MIR) are correctly completed and submitted to CMS within CMS issued guidelines
- Provide ongoing MIR compliance education and training to internal and external customers
- Trouble-shoot reporting errors and questions with internal and external customers
- Facilitate system enhancements to MIR platform
- Chairs Mandatory Insurer Reporting quarterly task force
- Maintain current tracking of MIR customers and profile reports
- Responsible to identify and facilitate timely implementation changes to adhere to current CMS regulations related to MIR
- Assure current MIR knowledge compliance via regular review of CMS websites and attend CMS/ industry hosted webinars and meetings to
- Requires punctual and consistent attendance
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all aspects of communications
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations during work hours in conjunction with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
- Additional duties as assigned
