Position Overview:
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

This role has two primary areas.

  • The Global Partner Product Manager part of the role focuses on ensuring there is alignment between the product programs, Channel Sales team, and the Partners they manage. The Product Manager is accountable for supporting the successful deployment of products to the partner channel and should represent the Product Managers of products with the Partner team. These products are critical to market success and generating additional revenue for the company. Being effective in this role requires a natural ability to lead, build strong trusting partnerships across the organization and drive progress. This requires a highly resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-moving, complex environment requiring strong organization skills and self-motivation.
  • The Business Operations part of this role requires collaboration across engineering, product and finance to drive our PLM processes and produce the data reporting required to drive the teams as well as supporting our executive team on monthly reporting and annual processes like Capital spending. This likely includes managing a Data analyst and required someone to understand PLM, capital spend and funnel reporting. Strong excel and powerpoint skills are required while other systems such as SmartSheet are desirable.

The key areas of responsibility are:

  • Product Knowledge:

o Ensure appropriate level of product knowledge is provided to partners.

o Manage/Share Roadmap Information as appropriate.

  • Ensure Partner Product Readiness:

o Represent partner channel in new product introductions with Product Management.
o Drive development of specific partner collateral including solution guidelines for Partners leading cross functional team.

o Ensure Partner training plans are created and executed.

  • Legal Support:

o Support the Channel Management and Legal team relating to any program changes, new product introductions etc.

  • Monitoring and Reporting:

o Track partner performance metrics (e.g., sales, revenue).
o Create NCRU reports to track Partner Training completions & Certification.

o Support Channel Managers in resolve conflicts within the channel.

  • Building Strong Relationships:

o Maintain strong connections with Partner and Product Managers.

  • Product Management Liaison:

o Manage requests from Channel Sales for new functionality for Channel Partners.

o Facilitate PM/Marketing comms to Partners.

  • Manage Development Partners:

o Manage relationship with specific development and switch Partners.

o Develop and manage any programs specific to these Partners.

  • Leading small team and managing people to drive governance processes
  • Understanding of corporate finance processes and data

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Highly organized individual with an attention to detail and ability to work in a rapid paced/rapid turnaround environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strong Problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ work experience that would develop/demonstrate multi-tasking skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales or channel experience considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership capacity and influencing skills.
  • Experience in forecasting and analyzing business trends and complete business budgeting procedures/reporting.
  • Ability to understand broader business and financial issues and juggle multiple projects and/or tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years’ experience supporting partner relationships and/or Product Management within the Financial industry. The individual will have experience successfully achieving the position objectives in a matrixed organization dealing with many functions.

The individual will also have some experience managing projects involving multiple disciplines.

  • Experience in organizational assessment and design desirable
  • Experience in management coaching and training
  • Expert problem-solving skills will be essential for this role.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Expert in PLM processes and procedures.
