We are thrilled to announce that we are sourcing for a person who will join us as Product Manager,Power Gas Coal & Carbon

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are hiring a Workspace Product Manager for Commodities asset classes - Power, Gas, Coal and Carbon. The person will be responsible for engaging with the critical internal and external stakeholders, as well as bringing their own expertise to bear, on the creation of a product experience for our end users and clients in the Desktop space for the Commodities markets globally.

The role is highly visible within the business, both in strategic and in execution terms. As such, the role requires a person who:

  • can discuss and present our products at both a strategic level and at a deep level of detail, depending on the audience that they are dealing with,
  • can participate in strategic discussions with the business on product direction, but also roll their sleeves up” to participate in hands-on” work on the service as and when needed,
  • can engage with content, research & development teams across the world, in differing cultural contexts, to get complex projects executed.
  • The person will report directly into the Director of Product Management for Commodities.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Key responsibilities:

  • Engaging with users, frontline sales/support teams, business management, to define requirements for constant improvements to the functions and service quality of our products for this market
  • Engaging with the same teams to gather inputs on priority and cost/duration so as to facilitate the creation and monthly update of an enterprise product roadmap, spanning all platforms, products and content sets
  • Engaging with development teams to bring those requirements into reality with the highest quality of result in terms of interface, functional richness, performance and reliability
  • Using all the tools at their disposal to curate any client-facing interfaces in the product in response to user feedback, market-driven changes and marketing strategies to maintain high levels of service quality and drive growth in user numbers
  • Analysing platform, product and content usage data and other quantitative and qualitative inputs to empower data-driven decisions about priorities and the general direction of product evolution
  • Engaging with marketing and support teams to ensure users are fully briefed on the most important features in the product range
  • Engaging with business management to help shape strategy for retention of existing subscribers and growth into the future.

  • Proposition, Content, Marketing and Research & Insight colleagues
  • Development leads and developers within our technology organization globally, helping them to make the right decisions and trade-offs in Agile development processes so as to maximize client value delivered
  • SAM colleagues across all regions in order to ensure that customers’ requests are being considered, evaluated and consequently implemented
