We are working with an exciting start-up within the mining industry who have gained huge success across Australia and are about to embark on global growth with sites already in the US and Europe. They specialise in the research & design, manufacture, and distribution of technical and engineered products for heavy mobile equipment and fixed plant, that minimise maintenance and downtime for critical mining equipment. Due to a successful period of growth they are now looking for a Product manager - Sales & Marketing to be based in Brisbane with hybrid working.
This Product Manager - Sales & Marketing will report directly to the VP Global Sales & Marketing and based on experience can be as broad as the individual wants. They will be responsible for managing product strategy and complete product lifecycle, whilst providing cross functional leadership and collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key functions for this Product Manager - Sales & Marketing include:

  • Leading product strategic planning and new product introduction activities.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute product roadmaps aligned with business goals and market demands.
  • Defining product requirements, features, and enhancements.
  • Handling product positioning, value propositions and product pricing.
  • Participating in the development and management of a strategic product intellectual property portfolio and strategy.
  • Creating sales enablement materials, including product presentations and demos.
  • Participating in customer meetings, product launches, and trade shows to support sales efforts as required.
  • Providing technical expertise to internal teams, customers, and partners.
  • Collaborating with executives, engineering, design, supply chain, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Influencing decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
  • Developing methodologies and processes for accurately tracking and verifying installed base and annual consumption rates.

Essential requirements are:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in product management - to include strategy, new product introduction, prioritisation, planning and execution.
  • Background in B2B sales.
  • Experience of working in a start-up environment and/or be adaptable to change.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and revenue growth.
