Job Description
Have you worked as an x-ray screener, manager or supervisor of x-ray screeners or have you been involved in the training of x-ray screeners? If yes, then this role might be for you.

As our Training Product Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of driving the success of our Training products. This is your chance to lead the development and launch of ground-breaking training solutions, optimize existing training offerings, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll harness your market expertise and insights to define and refine our training strategies, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the security industry. In this role you will focus on ensuring our new training products are designed to optimise our people focused approach. This includes our new Virtual Training Centre Platform that hosts our online training content including our new Image Interpretation Training content.
Furthermore, you will inform the development of training offerings for the new products ready for product launch and identify any technologies that could incorporated into our existing solutions to ensure our training is people centred.

Duties and Responsibilities (Includes but not limited to)

  • Define commercial strategy for training products, aligning with services and aftermarket objectives.
  • Stay informed about target markets, competitors, and pricing. Translate customer feedback into training offering requirements.
  • Identify growth opportunities through partnerships, M&A, new markets, technologies, and service offerings.
  • Maintain scope, features, parameters, and value proposition of service offerings.
  • Lead commercial development of new service offerings, ensuring alignment with product lifecycle management.
  • Inform pricing strategy, maximizing margin, revenue, and market share.
  • Forge partnerships and optimize route-to-market channels, including digital platforms.
  • Drive launch of new training offerings, working closely with marketing and communication teams.
  • Monitor performance of existing offerings and develop plans for optimization.
  • Provide inputs to forecasts and budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Support sales and industry marketing teams and attend customer meetings and events.
  • Contribute to business development and provide input on product development.

The Individual

  • Experience of working as a screener, preferably in the aviation sector
  • Experience of delivering training to airport screeners is preferable
  • Knowledge of existing training products used by aviation and urban security customers
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • An understanding of product management, marketing, program management, and project management.
  • Familiarity with training industries

  • Analytical skills for effective decision-making and trade-offs.
  • Comfort working with data and IT systems and building business cases.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written). Proficiency in a second language is advantageous but not necessary.
