About Sun Tribe Trading
Sun Tribe Trading is the fastest-growing SREC aggregator, serving the mid-Atlantic.
Solar Renewable Energy Certificates, or SRECs, have proven to be a vital policy tool and financial incentive to make the clean energy transition happen. SRECs simultaneously align individuals, utilities, and government toward reaching our climate goals while also making solar financially feasible for many more homeowners, business, and asset owners.
We’re building a customer-centric organization that makes SRECs easy for our partners and solar owners. Through our platform and market-friendly approach, we aim to help accelerate the clean energy transition.
About the role
The position of Product Manager presents a unique opportunity to address climate change through our fintech product. You’ll take the lead on crafting the user experience in our web application, primarily used by sellers of SRECs (owners of solar facilities and various stakeholders in the ecosystem), solar installers, and those who trade in renewable energy commodities. Our team needs the talents of a well-rounded product manager whose leadership can elevate our products to serve the needs of the growing clean energy economy and push what’s possible with modern technology.
More specifically, you’ll serve as the operating executive of our product, working at the intersection of business objectives, user experience, and technology. You’ll own the product roadmap and all its associated objectives, UX designs, technical requirements, schedule, and resource plans. You’ll manage projects and team members in an agile framework. To see that our product delights our customers and serves evolving business needs, you’ll conduct user research and continually set us apart from the competition. You’ll also serve as a key stakeholder in strategic customer development activities that will shape the long-range company objectives.
While our team is still small, you will also sometimes be called upon to help as an individual contributor, configuring software, writing code, authoring tests, and adapting designs. This is a critical role in our growing business—it’s fun, fast, challenging, and the rewards roll in daily!
