Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
Altair has an opening for a Product Manager – Thermal CFD who will join Altair’s dynamic and agile CFD team. The successful candidate will drive the Altair CFD thermal modeling activities. He/she will work in a solutions-oriented role and engage with selected customers and partners. The work will be done in close collaboration with the Altair CFD development teams using our well-established agile development framework.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in internal and customer-facing technical discussions to understand thermal requirements and needs
- Actively support field teams in thermal benchmark activities and customer projects
- Contribute to the roadmap and vision for the Altair CFD Thermal solution
- Support and drive the development of best practice recommendations, tutorials and training materials on thermal topics and solutions
- Work closely with development, quality assurance, and product management teams to implement and deliver thermal functionality
- Actively participate in agile meetings with development and application teams
