Description:

Summary: The Product Manager is responsible for driving the development and launch of innovative products in AI, application development, and data engineering while ensuring they align with customer needs and the company’s strategic goals. This hybrid role combines the strategic focus of product development with the analytical skills of a business analyst. The Product manager works closely with cross-functional teams, including development/engineering, design, marketing, and change management, to shape product development from concept to launch. They play a crucial role in defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring product deliverables are aligned with market demands, customer expectations, and business objectives. Additionally, this role involves analyzing business requirements, conducting user experience follow-up, and providing insights to guide decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.
Although not a direct leader of people this role will also act as a mentor and support leadership mechanism for more junior members of the Product Management team.
This is a 100% remote position. Candidate of choice must be based in the United States.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing) or minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or a related role.
  • Understanding of product development processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Driven self-starter and ability to work with ambiguity to achieve success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to think outside of the box and creatively in both project/product management and design.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in AI/ML, application, data solutions, or software development, product management and maturation.
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles & story boarding.
  • Familiarity with product management tools and software (e.g. Azure Dev Ops).
