EDUCATION:

  • Ph.D. in a relevant field (or equivalent), with 3-5 years of experience
  • MS degree in a relevant field (or equivalent), with 5-7+ years of experience
  • BS degree in a relevant field (or equivalent), with 8-10+ years of experience

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with LCMS hardware and accompanying quantitative software solutions is required.
  • Deep understanding of mass spectrometry techniques and their applications to both small and large molecule analysis, as well as other analytical techniques is desired.
  • Extensive hands-on experience using advanced mass spectrometry instruments like Triple Quadrupole, Q-TOF, Orbitrap, etc highly preferred.
  • Laboratory experience with GxP environment, documentation and regulatory compliance in the biotech/biopharmaceutical industry is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of analytical methods qualification/validation also a plus.

  • Ability to synthesize and integrate customer insights, draw conclusions/implications, and translate information into product requirements, portfolio strategies, and business recommendations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interpret and summarize results in a clear, concise and accurate manner
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work in partnership with colleagues within and across organizations.
  • Initiative to drive fact-based decisions, projects and deliver results - demonstrate a ‘can-do’ demeanor.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional product development teams in aspects associated with product definition and product development.
  • Customer activities, assess market trends and competition offerings to develop and implement proactive strategies to strengthen the product line’s business advantage and build product requirements.
  • Keep the software fresh and innovative as best serves usability
  • Maintain documentation per our new product development and introduction (NPDI) process, including product requirements, user stories for development, and intellectual property reviews.
  • Represent the product in presentations, publications, and customer labs worldwide.
