Description:

Vanguard’s Financial Advisor Services (FAS) division provides investments, services, education, and research to more than 150,000 financial advisors. The Advisor Solutions Digital Product team within our FAS division is hiring an experienced, outcome-oriented and client-centric Product Manager to support a spectrum of advisor-facing product and portfolio technology solutions.
This Product Manager will be responsible for both product discovery and delivery; researching and experimenting to discover the right opportunities that advisors value and that drive the team’s outcomes, as well as bringing these new capabilities to life with the broader agile team.
You’ll define the strategy for a key body of work in the portfolio using product management, agile, and design thinking practices to lead a cross-functional team through the product development process.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads product management activities for multiple products, or one strategic product.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements or new technology solutions that drive significant change to the client experience.
  • Ensures delivery of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
  • Partners with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner, and supports/drives escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.
  • Leads the planning, development and implementation of new products. Defines and analyzes markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
  • Employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
  • Participates in and provides recommendations for ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
