As the Product Line Marketing Director for our Supply Chain Transparency business for EMEA you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to build our brand and drive pipeline in EMEA with an emphasis on the DACH region. Leveraging your expertise in marketing and ideally supply chain sustainability as well as your understanding of the EMEA market, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive brand positioning and pipeline by creating compelling marketing campaigns, content, and messaging that resonate with EMEA customers with an emphasis on the German market
  • Develop the value proposition, product positioning, business use cases and message maps that resonate with target personas.
  • Identify and update the market fundamentals, including total addressable market, potential adjacent or look-alike markets, buyer personas and the buyer journey from awareness to purchase to customer and beyond.
  • Develop and manage product launch plans and new feature sales tools.
  • Develop and communicate written briefs for use by agencies and direct their work activities to generate concepts for effectively executing marketing programs and objectives.
  • Document and communicate the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned—and how to win against them.
  • Collaborate on go-to-market plans with key stakeholders to support retention and expansion of existing customer accounts, revenue growth for product lines, and new customer acquisition.
  • Train and enable sales teams on messaging, use of tools and assets to advance opportunity pipeline, accelerate and close deals; work to improve and optimize proposals and RFI responses. Deliver sales materials, including sales presentations, battlecards, proposal templates, etc. for differentiation
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of marketing programs and sales tools in collaboration with Marketing Operations and report back to the business on results, opportunities, and required changes.
  • Act as an external thought leader for the products you support; coordinate and field key subject matter experts and customers for speaking engagements, press, analysts and written works.
  • Create marketing collateral, including client stories, case studies, brochures, video scripts, FAQs, etc.
  • Establish, maintain and leverage internal partnerships with Engineering, Product Management, Sales and Service Teams to drive internal and external readiness for adoption and in-market success for new and existing products.

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in B2B technical software (SaaS) marketing including lead generation
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Expertise in marketing in EMEA with an emphasis on DACH and German in particular
  • Proven track record of creating value through strategic product marketing in B2B high-tech or SaaS industry
  • Command of best practices across messaging, product strategy and positioning and creating product marketing assets
  • Proven experience managing product launches and go to market initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Proven experience with demand generation in digital channels.
  • Previous experience building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior business leaders
  • Experience in supply chain and sustainability a big plus
  • Additional languages e.g .Italian, Spanish, Japanese a big plus
  • German – based candidates given preference
