JOB DESCRIPTION

Danfoss Digital Services is looking for an experienced & passionate Product Owner who can help drive the service transformation of Danfoss. We are looking for someone who is excited to help create the next generation of our existing B2C Heating Service.
The current B2C IoT solution has over 200’000 connection points and is in a transformational phase. Together with our Service Tech Lead you will be responsible for bringing home the development of our core competences from a 3rd party and building up a solid optimization and service solution both for B2C and B2B customers, whilst keeping our current customer base satisfied. We need a colleague who is a strong prioritiser, executer, and communicator. You are thinking digital thoughts natively and are enticed by the idea of pushing the boundaries of a business coming from physical devices transitioning into the digital space.
You will work in a high-paced and dynamic environment with colleagues and team members located across the world. We have high ambitions to deliver the best digital services in the industry, and to be the leading platform globally within heating.
We prioritize delivering strong solutions over perfect processes. One of your first tasks will be to layout the solution vision together with the Tech Lead and the business stakeholders. From there you will take this vision and start implementing upon it.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

To be considered for this role, you should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering or similar, combined with 4+ years of relevant experience working as a product owner in a stakeholder complex environment. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who:

• Has a passion for digital innovation, product development and modern cloud and IoT solutions
• Has experience in finding the sweet spot between user- and business needs
• Shows initiative, is pro-active and can comfortably shift between strategic thinking and execution
• Empowers leadership skills without formal authority
• Experience working with 3rd party service providers and the complexity of large amounts of flowing data as well as coordinating project execution with collaboration partners
• Fluent communication skills in English

Nice to haves:

• Prior experience in working with both B2C and B2B IoT domains
• Prior experience in the energy or heating industry
• Prior experience in prototyping and wireframing as part of a user-centric approach

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Detailed responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Build, maintain and spread a deep understanding of your digital product cross organization and help set the product direction.
• Enable your team to shape and deliver a high-quality digital solution that continuously is improved to solve the end-users problems. You will do this by exploring the feature requirements and breaking them down into User Stories with your team.
• Use creative thinking to identify how the organization, the service and our processes can be improved to better support the scalability and efficiency our growing platform needs.
